MWA is organising a Specialized Conference & Exhibition on Water Loss from 15 - 16 July 2008 at Sunway Pyramid Convention Centre.

This is the first ever conference that is held in Southeast Asia which focused on Water Loss management. Water Loss Asia 2008 promises to empower participants with invaluable information, updates and knowldege on managing and overcoming water loss in the Asian region. Various interesting sessions covering the full range of NRW areas including Leakage, Pressure Management, Customer Metering, Information Technology, District Metering, Water Audits & KPIs, Training, etc.

More than 20 international experts will be presenting and sharing their experiences and we expect about 300 delegates to participate. Professional Engineers registered with Board of Engineers Malaysia (BEM) are entitled for CPD Hours subject to full attendance. Conference Theme: Water and Wastewater Challenges: The Way Forward

Asia Water 2008 Conference was held from 1 - 2 April 2008 at Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre, Malaysia. The event was supported by Ministry of Energy, Water and Communications Malaysia and endorsed by Malaysia External Trade Development Corporation (MATRADE). Asia Water 2008 Expo - the region's largest water & wastewater industry exhibition, which showcased water related products, services, technologies an applications.

This year, we have brought a number of key figures in the water industry to share their expertise in a specialised Forum on Water Infrastructure Investment in this region. The Forum was appropriate to investors, bankers and potential operators besides our regular water players.

Malaysia Water Industry Guide (MWIG) 2007 comprise of statistics on water & wastewater and directory of MWA members will be available for sale tentatively in June 2008.
